Step-by-step process

How It Works

1. Preparation

– The program begins with a 5-hour ground school, where students learn the basics of skydiving.
– While optional, a tandem skydive is highly recommended to experience freefall before the first solo jump.

2. AFF Skydives

– Over the course of 8 jumps, instructors guide students in mastering essential skydiving skills.
– Each jump includes pre-jump briefings, post-jump debriefs, and assessments to track progress.

3. Solo Practice

– After being cleared to jump solo, students can explore the skies independently to gain experience.
– A minimum of 5 coached jumps and 12 solo jumps are required to prepare for the final assessment.

4. “A” License Check Dive

– The final jump with an instructor marks the graduation from student status, earning the **“A” license**.
– With this license, students can now skydive in groups with other licensed jumpers.

5. Advanced Licenses and Instructional Rating

– As students continue to build experience and skills, they become eligible for “B”, “C”, and “D” licenses.
– For those pursuing a career in skydiving, instructional and coach ratings can also be acquired.

This structured process ensures a safe and comprehensive learning experience, guiding students from beginners to licensed skydivers and beyond!
